In a nutshell. When you join my list, I keep your email address, your first name if you give it, and your baby's age range. I use them to email you about Beyond Goodnight, and for nothing else. I don't sell your information and I don't share it with advertisers. You can unsubscribe, see what I have, or ask me to delete it at any time.
Who I am
Beyond Goodnight is run by Kylie Goldman, in Quebec, Canada. I'm the person responsible for protecting your personal information here, and you can reach me directly at hello@beyondgoodnight.com.
What I collect, and why

I don't ask for health information, and please don't send me any about you or your baby. If you reply to an email and share something personal anyway, it stays in my inbox, I don't add it to my list, and I'll delete it if you ask.
Your consent
I only email you because you asked me to, by filling in the form. You'll get a confirmation email first, and nothing more unless you confirm. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click.
Who else handles your information
I use a small number of services to run this. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
- Kit (kit.com) stores my email list and sends my emails.
- Netlify (netlify.com) hosts this website. Like any web host, it keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this page. Loading them means your browser contacts Google, which sees your IP address.
These services are based outside Quebec, mainly in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there, under the laws that apply there. I chose them because they are widely used and have their own security and privacy commitments.
I will never sell or rent your information, or give it to anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, I will update this page before it does, and say so here.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while you're on my list. If you unsubscribe, I stop emailing you straight away. My email service keeps a record that you unsubscribed, so you're never added back by accident. If you'd rather I delete everything, email me and I will.
Your rights
You can ask me, at any time and for free:
- what personal information I have about you,
- to correct anything that's wrong,
- to delete it,
- to stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
Email me at hello@beyondgoodnight.com. I'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you're not satisfied with how I handle your request, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Keeping it safe
Access to my list is protected by a strong password and two-step login, and only I have it. If something ever went wrong that put your information at risk, I would tell you and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
Children
This site is for parents. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Your baby's age range is the only thing I ask about your child.
Changes
If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If it's a real change, like a new service or a new use, I'll tell you by email first.
